Star singer and songwriter, David Adeleke popularly called Davido is currently getting the buzz on Twitter following his link-up with renowned rapper, Drake. The ‘A Better Time’ singer recently made the headlines with his cameo appearance in Hollywood’s Coming 2 America, his debut in the movie scene and it appears he has his eyes set on ‘better things’ musically.

In a viral clip on Twitter, the ‘FEM’ singer was seen hanging out with Drake as they engaged in a cultural exchange of the Nigerian slang “e choke”, fondly used by the 30BG boss himself.

Recall that Davido has once said that he doesn’t “care about foreign collaborations, fvck foreign collaborations’ during an interview, stating that “I care more about what I’m doing in my country.”

When asked if he would do a collabo with Drake if the opportunity arises, he said, “I’ll do it now but I’m not crazy about it. If he comes, of course, but Drake no be God now.”

Davido has gone on to make collaborations with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Nas, Lil Baby, Young Thug and Chris Brown, who happens to be his close pal following their hit single, “Blow Ma Mind’ of Davido’s 2019 album, ‘A Good Time’.

The ‘If’ singer has gotten the sticks from some Wizkid’s fans for the “Drake no be God” comment, owing to the fact that owing to the fact the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer has multiple collaborations with Drake.

In the same vein, some Davido faithful have rallied around him and can’t wait to see the outcome of the link-up as they anticipate a hit jam.

Reacting on Twitter, @antigravitylite teased by accusing the DMW boss of hypocrisy.

She said, “Davido dissed Wizkid for working with drake and said drake is not God. See him squirting on seeing drake. This life can never be balance. No, be only choke na chocolate.”

Another user, @mafia10114, rep Davido FC by saying that the anticipated collaboration with the ‘God’s Plan’ singer will shut down the internet.

He tweeted, “Davido influencing drake to say e choke is the best thing you will see on the internet .. Davido x drake will shut down. The internet .. monster hit incoming.”

But Wizkid FC refused to be defeated as @XFasasi bragged that Wizkid is beyond Davido’s level.

“Wiz past is your mcm present lmaooo.. Even Tekno linked with drake and didn’t make noise.. Lmaoo levels to this shit mehn, your mcm just disgraced himself again. And PSA Drake posted wiz on his page not the other way around. This shit is funny,” he tweeted.
