DStv, GOtv subscriptions hiked five months after initial increase

Pay TV Company Multichoice, has announced new rates for its DStv and GOtv package offerings.

This development is coming after a recent review and upgrading of the former prices.

According to the memo sent to the company’s consumers, the price review cut across all monthly packages.

For the DSTV package, the premium package has been moved from #29,500 to N37,000, while the compact plus package has moved from N19,800 to N25,000,

Likewise the compact package from N12,500 to N15,700, while the Confam from N7,400 to N9,300,

The DSTV Yanga also moved from N4,200 to N5,100, while Padi will now be N3,600 from N2,950.

The company also moved the HDPVR Access Service, access fees, and Xtraview package from N4000 to N5000.

Similarly, the GOtv Supa+ now costs N15,700 from N12,500, while Supa moved to N9,600 from N7,600.

The Max package will now cost N7,200 from N5,700, while GOtv Jolli subscribers will now pay N4,850 instead of N3,950. Also, the Jinja subscribers will pay N3,300 instead of N2,700, and the smallie package subscribers will pay N1,575 instead of N1,300.

The company stated that these new prices will take effect from 1st of May, 2024.
