Drunk driver kills court clerk, injures five others in Delta

Mexico: 138 die from drinking adulterated alcohol

A drunk driver, Kingsley Ekeugbah, has been arraigned at a Chief Magistrate Court, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State for alleged reckless driving.

The driver recklessness was said to have led to the death of one person, and injuries to five others.

The 35-year-old suspect is charged with causing the death of 53-year-old Helen Odogwu, a court clerk.

Ekeugbah is accused of driving without care and attention to other road users, leading to the death of one woman and causing injury to three family members and a commercial motorcyclist.

Magistrate Chuks Moeteke adjourned the matter until March 25 for consideration of bail.

The deceased, according to reports, would have read the charge sheet were she alive.
