Borussia Dortmund are preparing for a significant squad overhaul this summer after ending the season without silverware despite showing encouraging performances throughout the campaign.

Several departures have already been confirmed at Signal Iduna Park, with Julian Brandt, Niklas Sule and Salih Ozcan all expected to leave the club.

Additional exits are also anticipated as the Bundesliga side reshapes its roster ahead of next season.

Among the names currently linked with Dortmund is Zadok Yohanna, the highly rated 18-year-old winger playing for AIK.

The teenager has enjoyed an impressive rise in Sweden, scoring five goals in 11 appearances so far this year.

According to reports from Africa Soccer, Dortmund are monitoring the young Nigerian as a possible summer signing. Yohanna, currently valued at €500,000, is viewed as one of the emerging talents attracting attention across Europe.

Primarily deployed on the right wing, Yohanna has gained recognition for combining physical presence with technical quality. His performances in 2026 have also highlighted his finishing ability and attacking threat in the final third.

Data from Transfermarkt indicates there is currently no confirmed contract expiration date attached to the player at AIK. That uncertainty could potentially place the Swedish side in a difficult position if a new long-term agreement is not secured soon.

Dortmund are believed to be assessing the situation closely and could move to formalize their interest with an official offer. AIK may ultimately face a decision between negotiating a transfer fee now or risking the possibility of losing one of their brightest young prospects for nothing in the future.

Yohanna has started each of AIK’s seven Allsvenskan matches this season, underlining his growing importance within the squad. The consistent playing time also reflects the club’s confidence in his ability to establish himself as a first-team regular.

The winger’s pace, creativity and technical sharpness have reportedly made him a standout figure despite his young age. Those qualities have not gone unnoticed, with multiple European clubs said to be tracking his development alongside Dortmund.

With a relatively modest valuation and considerable long-term potential, Dortmund could see the Nigerian youngster as another smart investment in line with the club’s strong reputation for nurturing attacking talent.

A transfer to Germany would also provide Yohanna with a bigger stage to further develop his career and attract wider international attention.
