Actress Doris Ogala has raised fresh concerns over the condition of actress Regina Daniels and her mother, Rita Daniels, following the ongoing marital crisis involving billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
In a video shared online, Ogala claimed that Regina locked herself in her room and refused to open the door for anyone. She also alleged that the actress’s mother had collapsed due to the emotional strain surrounding the issue.
“The mother has just collapsed. Gina has locked herself inside. She’s not talking to anybody. That girl said she will hurt herself. I’ve never been this devastated before,” Ogala said.
She continued, “Everybody is trying to reach out to her, but she’s not opening the door. The people around her say she has locked herself in high heels. Please, somebody should come through for us. The mother is devastated. I can’t even hold her.”
Ogala went on to call on law enforcement authorities, claiming she had reached out to the Inspector-General of Police for help. “I reached out to IGP myself. He gave me your number. FCC command, fear God. The IGP told me he already told you to release that boy,” she said, referring to Regina’s brother, who was reportedly arrested amid the crisis.
She alleged that people were afraid to intervene because of Ned Nwoko’s influence. “Everybody is afraid of getting involved with this man’s matter. From the high places down, nobody wants their name mentioned. They are afraid of him, and that’s the truth,” Ogala said
The development follows a series of public exchanges between Regina Daniels and her husband. On October 20, 2025, a viral video showed Regina in tears, accusing Nwoko of domestic abuse. Nwoko denied the allegations, alleging that Regina’s behavior was influenced by substance use and claiming she needed rehabilitation.
The actress also accused Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her siblings, including her brother Samuel Ojeogwu, on charges of assault and cyberbullying. Her mother, Rita Daniels, further alleged that Nwoko filed a warrant against her over financial disagreements.
