Don’t hate Nigeria because of Buhari – Lauretta Onochie
Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, has advised those who hate the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), not to extend the same hate to Nigeria and her institutions.
Onochie advised Nigerians to stand by the country’s institutions which she says are currently undergoing reforms.
She said, “If you choose to hate our President & Legislators, it’s ok. But that hate must not be extended to Nigeria and her institutions.
“While President Trump is denigrating America’s electoral system, Americans are fiercely defending the integrity of their electoral body. That’s patriotism.
“Nigeria is exactly what her people are. Our institutions are exactly what we are.
“Reforms are on-going in the Executive, legislature, Judiciary, Army, Police, Customs, INEC, EFCC, ICPC, etc.
“We must stand by our institutions as they make progress towards serving us better.”
