Don’t expect palliatives if you sold your votes – Junior Pope
Nollywood actor, Junior Pope has said that those who sold their votes shouldn’t expect any palliatives from the politicians who bought them.
In a tweet, Junior Pope said that the palliatives which the politicians are accused of hoarding are an exchange for the money they paid to buy the votes of the citizens.
He tweeted:
“Why will they give you palliatives specifically meant for you when actually they paid you off to have your votes? In other words, you have sold your palliatives. And as such you shouldn’t be expecting anything from the leaders you sold your votes to… 2023 I run.”
His post comes amid multiple reports of citizens discovering and looting different warehouses across the country where COVID-19 palliatives were kept.
