Don’t ever compare me to Peruzzi, rapper Blaqbonez warns fans

Nigerian rap sensation, Emeka Akumefule popularly called Blaqbonez has warned people to stop comparing him to fellow singer, Peruzzi.

He made this known via a post on his official Twitter handle.

The 25-year-old who tagged Peruzzi as unserious, further disclosed that the singer had dropped a track list since November but hasn’t still dropped an album yet.

Blaqbonez wrote:

“Please don’t compare me with peruzzi, that man dropped track list in November, album still no drop.”

In 2019, Blaqbonez was profiled by The New York Times as one of the new guards of Nigerian music.

He is widely known for his controversial self-proclaimed status as the “Best Rapper in Africa”

Since 2018, Blaqbonez has released three EPs, Bad Boy Blaq (2018), Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up (2019), Mr. Boombastic (2019) and a series of singles that have swerved in and out of hip-hop, Afrobeat and R&B.
