American country music legend, Dolly Parton, has postponed her December concerts at the Colosseum, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, after doctors advised her to undergo multiple medical procedures.
Parton, 79, made the announcement in a post on Instagram on Sunday, saying she was still battling health issues. She joked that it was time for her “100,000-mile checkup” but stressed the procedures were not related to plastic surgery.
She explained that the treatments would not allow her enough time to prepare for the shows and insisted she wanted fans, who paid heavily for tickets, to get full value. Reports say resale tickets were already going for as high as $1,500.
“I want to give you the best performance I can, and right now the doctors tell me I need to slow down,” she wrote.
Parton added that she would continue working on some projects in Nashville despite the setback.
The postponement affects six shows initially billed for December 2025. They have now been moved to September 2026.
This year has been a difficult one for the singer following the death of her husband, Carl Dean, in March.
