A Nigerian man has expressed his disappointment at one of Nigeria’s foremost fast food restaurants Mr. Biggs after he allegedly bought a substandard chicken pie at one of its outlets in Lagos.
The man who took to social media to share his disappointment via his Twitter handle @GalaticoNG said the pie was full of flour and chicken bone.
He wrote,
“The MrBiggs on Toyin Street, Ikeja is a disgrace… Chicken pie is 92.97% flour, 7% Chicken bone & 0.03% chicken. Flour got like 8 layers
Never eaten anything trashier.”
The tweet has, however, sparked reactions among Nigerians on social media who wondered if the restaurant is still in business.
It also brought back childhood memories for some Twitter users who said Mr. Biggs used to be the toast of all fun lovers in the early 2000s.
The reactions have made Mr Biggs a top trending topic on Twitter in Nigeria.

What happened to Mr. Biggs is what happened to Lagos Yellow cabs. They refused to move when others are moving.

I don’t think competition led to Mr. Biggs misfortune. The problems are bad management, the franchisor-franchisee agreement that saw most franchise not respecting their total quality management. Most started producing low-quality products and services.
