Popular Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, has sparked online reactions after admitting she still calls her mum to ask how long to boil rice.
The 32-year-old disc jockey, whose real name is Florence Otedola, made the confession on Wednesday in a post on her X handle.
“Making it big… but still calling my mum to ask how long to boil rice,” she wrote.
The post surprised many Nigerians, with some joking that her statement might scare away potential husbands. Others wondered why someone her age still needed help with basic cooking.
