The lawmaker representing Kogi West at the Senate, Senator Dino Melaye, is fast becoming a nationwide musical star with his singing prowess.
With the way he keeps releasing hit singles back-to-back, it will not be out of place to tout him as a nominee in the Next Rated category of the next Headies Award or the Soundcity Music Video Award (SMVA).
WuzupNaija reports that just a week ago he released a diss track to mock the governor of his state Yahaya Bello.
Melaye took his musical prowess to the city of Port Harcourt in Rivers state a few days ago where he thrilled guests at the inauguration dinner of Governor Nyesom Wike.
As he was invited to speak at the dinner the Senator didn’t disappoint the guests who must have been expecting him to unleash his musical talent.
He grabbed the microphone and sang to eulogise his host. His song which is always filled with humorous lyrics lightened up the gathering as the crowd burst into laughter as Melaye sang.
The Senator shared the video on his Instagram page with the caption;
