American singer and songwriter Usher Raymond has spoken out regarding the mysterious wipe of his X.com (formerly Twitter) account.

The 45-year-old artist clarified on Sunday that his account had been hacked, dispelling speculations that arose following the incident.

Addressing the situation, Usher wrote, “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” dismissing any rumors that may have linked the wipe to his association with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The account wipe had raised eyebrows last week, coming just days after Diddy was arrested on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Usher’s sudden social media disappearance, coupled with the growing pressure on high-profile celebrities in Diddy’s circle to speak out against the allegations, fueled speculation about a potential connection.

Usher, who spent a significant part of his early career under Diddy’s mentorship, had previously spoken about witnessing “very curious things” while staying at Diddy’s home. This past relationship has only intensified public interest in his response to the charges against Diddy.

Following Diddy’s arrest, several videos have resurfaced online, further stirring controversy.

One clip features Justin Bieber and Diddy, with the latter claiming to have taken Bieber under his wing for two days to experience his extravagant lifestyle. In the video, Diddy says, “Where we [are] hanging out and what we doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” while standing beside Bieber. At the time, Bieber was signed under Usher’s mentorship.

Diddy had added, “I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber], but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me. We gonna go full buck full crazy.”

As the situation surrounding Diddy’s legal troubles continues to unfold, the spotlight remains on his former associates, including Usher, who has now distanced himself from the social media rumors with his latest statement.
