Actor, director and politician, Desmond Elliot, who has been trending on social media for a week, has finally reacted to the frequent online bashing he receives from Nigerian youths.

WUZUPNIGERIA recalled the role the lawmaker representing the Surulere Constituency in Lagos State House of Assembly played during the Lekki #EndSARS Protest on October 2020, where he referred to the nation’s youths as ‘children.’

The role infuriated Young Nigerians who vowed to deal with him for seeing the youths in bad light.

His role in that drama, which is yet to be forgotten, has birthed the endless ‘troll’ he receives any time an unpleasant issue is discussed on social media.

The average youths on social media perennially call out the politician for virtually everything happening in the country.

Elliot, who has maintained a low profile since the #EndSARS incident, has promised to be a better role model as expected by Nigerians.

The lawmaker is also spending his pastime undergoing a dance class with a trained instructor.

In a recent dancing video posted on social media, he wrote:

“I have seen & read a lot about me trending back-to-back for days, y’all want me to do better and surely, I will do better….

“On a lighter note, I think my dance instructor is doing a great job, one day, one day, I go sabi dance. Have a great day ahead!”
