The Minister of Defence, retired General Christopher Musa, has indicated that he is likely to formally become a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Speaking in an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme aired on Channels Television, Musa said he is currently undergoing a political transition.

He said he was appreciative of the APC for providing him the opportunity to serve as Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and later as Minister of Defence, adding that he would support the party.

The former CDS said President Bola Tinubu requires full backing and expressed his readiness to support the president in every possible way.

“I’ve not transitioned yet. I’m in transition. I think I’ll become a politician, a member of the APC, definitely.

“Mr President needs all support, totally,” he said.
