Toyin Abraham’s lawyers, identified as Legal House Solicitors, have issued a cease and desist notice to controversial actress, Lizzy Anjorin, over her unending defamatory statements about their client.

Legal House Solicitors in a two-page letter warned Anjorin to desist from slandering and defaming Toyin who has “built an enviable reputation for herself based on her widely recognised talent”.

The solicitors said that Lizzy’s Instagram publications have caused serious and irreparable injury to Abraham’s reputation in the estimation of right-thinking people both home and abroad.

“It has further exposed her to hatred, contempt or ridicule the effect of which she is now being avoided by some friends with the potential to erode her image as a brand ambassador to several brands including some transnational companies, the letter read in part.

Toyin lawyers concluded by demanding that Lizzy “immediately Cease and Desist from publishing defamatory statements about her.

2. Immediately delete your aforementioned malicious posts and publish a letter of apology on your Instagram page for the attention of our client.

3. Immediately forward to our office, a letter of apology addressed to Ms. Toyin Abraham.

Toyin Abraham also shared photos of the defamatory lawsuit notice and vowed not to comment on the squabble.

“Silence is not golden. Rather than wrestle with a pig, it might be ideal to let the pig know that it belongs in the pen. No longer speaking on this, my management team and attorneys are taking this up,” Toyin wrote.
