Deeper Life Pastor Odogbo becomes Idoma paramount ruler
A pastor of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, John Elaigwu Odogbo has emerged the new Och’Idoma of Idoma Nation.
The pastor defeated Andrew Idakwu and Sunday Echono by pulling 19 of the 28 total votes cast to emerge as the paramount ruler.
Recall that Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, had promised that the selection of the new Och’Idoma would be transparent.
Elaigwu was born on 27th March1969 as the fifth child to the family of Mr. ELAIGWU EKOJA in Obagaji, headquarters of Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.
He is a graduate of prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1994) with B.Sc honours in Accounting and currently running PhD programs in Accounting at the Nasarawa State University Keffi.
The Ochi’Idoma title is the highest chieftaincy title of the Idoma people in Benue State.
