Nigerian comedian and reality TV star, Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as Deeone, has announced that he has received approval from Guinness World Records to attempt breaking the record for the longest stand-up comedy performance.
The entertainer made the announcement through a flier styled like a burial poster, humorously mimicking traditional obituary designs to catch the attention of fans and social media users.
According to details made available, Deeone will be aiming to surpass the current 40-hour record for continuous stand-up comedy.
The ambitious event is scheduled to hold from October 2 to October 4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos, located in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The comedian’s announcement has sparked anticipation among fans and fellow entertainers, as he prepares to take on the demanding feat in what promises to be a historic and laughter-filled marathon.
