The premier Yoruba royal father Ooni of Ife came under intense criticism on Thursday after tweeps got angry with him for saying that Jesus is his father. During the Father’s day celebration, the Ooni of Ife at a Church Service sang a special number “I have a father and he will never ever fail me…Jesus is my father, he will never fail me, rock of ages, never ever fails…” he further asked the congregants to join him in singing.

Some tweeps, obviously Yoruba, belive that the Ooni is a deity on his own, so why should he want the western Jesus?
