Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has been announced as part of the performers for the 2026 Coachella Music and Arts Festival.

The organisers unveiled the official line-up on Tuesday, with Davido as the only Nigerian artiste billed to perform at the world-famous festival next year.

The singer will take the stage on April 11 and April 18, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Speaking on the milestone, the ‘With Me’ crooner said he is excited to bring Afrobeats to the iconic platform. “I’m ready to represent the culture and give the world a performance they won’t forget,” Davido said.

This year’s headliners are American pop stars Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber, alongside Colombian singer Karol G.

Other acts on the bill include Young Thug, Major Lazer, Swae Lee, Teddy Swims, Giveon, and Central Cee.

Davido joins the growing list of Nigerian artistes who have graced the Coachella stage. Seun Kuti and his Egypt 80 band have performed multiple times, including 2012, 2020, and 2025. Burna Boy made appearances in 2019 and 2023, while Mr Eazi performed in 2019. Tems played in 2024 and 2025, and CKay was on stage in 2022. Rema also made his debut in 2025, marking his global breakthrough.

Other Nigerian talents like Fireboy DML and Teni have also performed during DJ Spinall’s sets at Coachella.
