Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced August 11 as the date for the exclusive live premiere of his forthcoming album, Oriade, in London.

The announcement was made on Friday through a post on his verified X account, @davido, where the award-winning singer invited fans to a one-off performance at the O2 Forum Kentish Town ahead of the album’s official release.

He wrote: “London! Join me on Aug. 11 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town for a very special show.

“This will be the first and only chance to hear Oriade performed live, so if you want to experience the new album before anyone else. Tickets are on sale now I’Il see you there! “

Davido had previously revealed that Oriade, his sixth studio album, will be released on July 31. The title is derived from the Yoruba words “ori,” meaning destiny, and “adé,” meaning crown, translating to “the crowned head.”

The singer said the project celebrates his 15-year journey in the music industry and reflects his personal and artistic evolution.

“Over fifteen years ago, I decided to trust something I couldn’t fully explain. I just knew music was my destiny,” he told Billboard.

“The biggest blessings often come from betting on yourself, even when the destination isn’t in sight yet,” he said.

The album’s lead single, I Know Who I Be, featuring South African producers Jazzwrld and GL Ceejay, has already been released, offering listeners an early glimpse of the direction of the new project.

Featuring 13 tracks, Oriade marks a return to Davido’s signature high-energy African sound, moving away from the more pop-oriented crossover style of some of his recent work. The album follows his 2025 Billboard charting project, 5ive.
