Rapper, Odumodublvck, has revealed that popular Afrobeat singer Davido recently sent ₦10 million to his girlfriend to appreciate her for standing by him.
Speaking during an interview with Beat 99.9 FM, the rapper said the gift came just two days ago and was a surprise from Davido.
“Shoutout to Davido, that’s my brother. Two days ago, he sent ₦10 million to my girlfriend,” Odumodublvck said.
According to him, Davido made the generous move because of how much his girlfriend supported him, especially during his campaign for the Headies Next Rated award.
“She did a whole campaign and stuff like that. Real gee. I think she’s a key part of my success, and I have to give her credit,” he added.
The rapper went on to describe how his girlfriend worked hard behind the scenes to make sure he won. Her effort paid off, as Odumodublvck won both the Next Rated and Best Rap Single categories at the 17th Headies Awards.
“Shout out to OBO though,” he said, thanking Davido again.
Odumodublvck also spoke about his music journey, saying things did not always go as planned. He recalled not getting a nomination in the Next Rated category the previous year, but said everything eventually worked out for the best.
The rapper and Davido have previously worked together on a song titled *Funds*, which also featured singer Chike.
