Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has launched a scathing attack on the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Umar Abba, accusing him of disrespecting the rule of law.

Taking to his social media handles, the award-winning singer did not hold back in his criticism, labeling the commissioner a “disgrace” and vowing to challenge his actions.

“Mr Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuku mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day, everywhere, Mr Man!!! Try me, f**ker!” Davido wrote in one of his posts.

In another post, he accused Abba of tarnishing his family’s reputation.

“Mr Umar Abba, Osun State Commissioner, you are a disgrace to your children!!! Game on, f**ker!!! All of us go mad together!! W*rey!!!”

The singer also shared a video where he vowed to “match the commissioner’s madness.”

Davido’s outburst follows allegations by his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, against former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

On Sunday, Governor Adeleke accused Oyetola of plotting to destabilize the state, allegedly leveraging his relationship with President Bola Tinubu to fuel political unrest.

The governor claimed that Oyetola was working in collaboration with the Osun State Commissioner of Police, the Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), and the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to create chaos.

Governor Adeleke has called on President Tinubu to intervene and prevent any breakdown of law and order in Osun State.

He also urged Nigerians to hold Oyetola responsible for any future unrest, as political tensions continue to rise in the state.
