Award winning Afrobeats singer, Adeleke David popularly known as Davido has set the stage for another exciting chapter in his music career with the announcement of his highly anticipated album, 5IVE, set for release in 2025.
The singer, known for his global hits and dynamic performances, revealed that the album would reflect his personal journey, growth, and truth.

The song pays homage to South African legend Brenda Fassie, sampling her 1997 hit “Vuli Ndlela”, a timeless anthem that celebrated South Africa’s emergence from apartheid.
Davido performed an unreleased version of “Funds” last month at his birthday concert in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, thrilling fans with its infectious rhythm.
“5ive” is set to build on the global success of Davido’s 2023 album Timeless, which earned the singer his first three Grammy nominations, including Best Global Music Album. Tracks like “Feel” and “Unavailable” solidified Davido’s reputation as an Afrobeats pioneer.
