Davido allegedly beats up bouncer after Abuja #EndSARS protest
Singer Davido has been accused of unleashing his boys to beat up a bouncer at a night club in Abuja.
An Instagram user identified as @djttb called the singer out over the incident which he said happened on Tuesday night.
He dragged Davido for beating up the bouncer after participating in a protest calling for an end to police brutality in Nigeria.
@djttb wrote:
“@davidoofficial you can’t be claiming you are fighting for the youths while same night (Tuesday night) you and your thugs are beating up a bouncer in an Abuja lounge just for doing his job. Be very careful bro, we go change am for you next time you try this.”
His narration was corroborated by @misslawani who expressed shock at witnessing the incident.
She wrote:
“ABL Yesterday was wild yo… I’m still a bit messed up from the incident I witnessed
I witness one of the most popular artists in Nigeria (go figure), beat up a bouncer with > his like 10 of this guys and I just stood there in shock. I wish I could have done something to stop them, but it all just happened so fast.
When I got home, I wept, cause all I remember was how helpless the guy was and I was thinking to myself like what if the guy had died right in front of me and I did nothing to help him?
Pls, tell me what is the difference between him and the so-called SARS he claims he’s fighting against?
I was told that the bouncer had to go get a head scan cause he was bleeding from the nose and ears.. All these cos he was just doing his job
I’m so appalled!!!
Your Karma is coming.”
