Popular music sensation, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has secured his debut appearance on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This achievement is attributed to his collaboration with Chris Brown on the hit single ‘Sensational,’ which also features fellow Nigerian artist, Lojay.

The track made its entry at number 96 on the latest Hot 100 list, following its previous peak at number one on the Bubbling chart for three consecutive weeks.

Billboard confirmed the accomplishment via its official Twitter account on Monday.

“@chrisbrown’s ‘Sensational,’ starring @davido and @Lojaymusic, debuted at No. 96 on this week’s #Hot100. It earns Davido and Lojay their first career entries on the chart,” the announcement stated.

Davido and Lojay now join a prestigious list of Nigerian artists who have made entries on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, Rema, Ckay, and Fireboy DML.
