Darey Alade to Sanwo-Olu: Restore some sanity, rid Lagos of your campaign posters

Nigerian musician, singer-songwriter, and Idol series judge, Darey Alade, has advised the winner of the Lagos State governorship election, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to remove his campaign posters and billboards.

According to the singer, the removal will restore sanity in the states.

Alade, who is the son of a renowned musician, Art Alade, said this should be the governor-elect’s first assignment.

WuzupNaija recalls that Sanwo-Olu defeated Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge as Governor-elect.

He polled 739,445 votes, while Agbaje got 206,141 votes.

“First thing Sanwoolu needs to do once he resumes office is to rid Lagos of all his campaign posters and paraphernalia! Restore some sanity!!”, he tweeted.
