Nigerian artist Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, has publicly called out music star Davido over an alleged unpaid debt.
This came shortly after Davido shared news of a generous gift he received from a producer.
Davido recently posted on Instagram about a producer he worked with on his Timeless album. The producer, after receiving his publishing cheque, showed gratitude by gifting Davido $20,000.
Touched by the gesture, the Unavailable singer wrote, “A certain producer/writer I started working with from Timeless. Finally, he got his publishing check, came to my house, handed me 20 thousand dollars, and said, ‘Baba, I thank you.’ Happy to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated sure feels good! Love you, brother!” he wrote in an Instagram story.
However, Dammy Krane used the moment to remind Davido of an alleged unpaid debt.
He also made a bold promise, saying he would give Davido $50,000 if the debt was settled. “OWE B OWE just gimme my money. I go give you $50k inside if na wetin you like,” he said.
The incident sparked mixed reactions among fans and followers online. Some praised Dammy Krane’s confidence, while others criticized him for addressing the issue publicly.
