Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has reportedly been arrested for cyberstalking the Crown Prince of Benin, Prince Ezelekhae Ewuare.
According to a lawsuit filed by the Prince’s legal team, Morgan has been persistently attempting to contact the Prince and has been following him on his work days without success. Her frustration led her to make false and defamatory statements against him on Instagram in 2020, and she has continued to do so.
The lawsuit highlighted that instead of engaging in online disputes, the Crown Prince took legal action against her, warning her to stop defaming him. However, she disregarded his warnings.
Furthermore, she made attempts to contact him through various means, which he promptly blocked. Despite this, she managed to reach him on May 3rd, 2024, and her statements were described as those of someone suffering from mental illness and delusions.
Recall that in November, Morgan publicly accused the Crown Prince of bewitching her and alleged physical assault, claiming it was to prevent her from marrying someone else.
In response, the Crown Prince announced his intention to sue Morgan on his Instagram story. Morgan reacted by reaffirming her stance and promising to share her side of the story, posting images of herself and the Prince from 2018.
However, she later clarified in a podcast that she was never intimate with the Prince and lacked close personal knowledge of him, such as his residence, which left many confused.
Aside from her issues with the Crown Prince, Morgan has been vocal about her experiences with other figures in the entertainment industry.
She revealed personal trauma within her family, accusing her half-siblings of sexual abuse and criticizing her father for prioritizing money over her well-being.
