Nigerian socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has reportedly initiated legal proceedings against Kenyan woman Hellen Ati, who has publicly claimed he is the father of her child.
Hellen Ati had for several months been calling out the celebrity barman on social media, alleging he fathered her two-year-old son.
She repeatedly urged him to undergo a DNA test and assume responsibility for the child.
In a new development, Nigerian lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye of the DPA Family Law Clinic shared court documents on his official Facebook page, revealing that Chiefpriest had filed a lawsuit before a magistrate court in Kenya.
The documents indicated that the Nigerian businessman is seeking a court order restraining Hellen from further making defamatory statements about him online.
According to the legal filing, Chiefpriest is demanding that she ceases all social media posts alleging paternity, which he claims have damaged his reputation.
The case marks a significant escalation in the ongoing public dispute between the two parties.
