Popular Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has shared his pain over missing his best friend Davido’s white wedding to Chioma in Miami.
In a post on Instagram, he shared a screenshot from a FaceTime call with the couple, sending them his congratulations while admitting he was emotional. “Happy married life, bestie. Water full my eyes. But I will be alright forever,” he wrote.
Cubana explained earlier that his absence was because he had not been granted a US visa. He said many people were disappointed he could not attend, but he believed “delay is not denial.” He added that he felt comfort knowing his wife was in Miami to represent him.
Cubana has been one of Davido and Chioma’s most vocal supporters, often celebrating their love story. When the couple reunited in 2022, he publicly prayed for them to have another child and praised Chioma while throwing shade at Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Last year on Chioma’s birthday, Cubana hailed her as a pride of Imo State, saying her positivity represents the state well. Just days before their traditional wedding in June 2024, he thanked Davido for never discarding “his sister,” with Davido responding that he could never.
Despite missing the Miami ceremony, Cubana revealed he had prepared a N7 million Agbada for the event.
