The Delta State Police Command has arrested a man, Ifeanyi Akpa and his wife, Ngozi, for assaulting a 13-year-old boy, Chigozie Ogbu, who lives with them.
Multiple media reports that the arrest came after one Comrade Friday Okpako alleged that the couple usually maltreat the teenager.
It was also reported that the 13-year-old boy does all the domestic chores in the house.
