Legendary Australian actor and artist, David Gulpilil, best known to international audiences for his role in Crocodile Dundee is dead.
He died aged 68 following a battle with cancer.
In 2019, the pioneering Indigenous actor; who was from the Mandhalpingu clan of the Yolŋu people was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
He rose to fame with iconic 1976 film Storm Boy and, in 1987, was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia.
