Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) has surrendered to the Nigerian Police for questioning over rape allegations levelled against him by Busola Dakolo.

Fatoyinbo’s protocol team was sent out of the Force Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) headquarters in Abuja.

Fatoyinbo is expected to be at the division for a while since Dakolo’s questioning was said to have taken about eight hours.

Mr Fatoyinbo is being interviewed by a team of 4 led by Asst Commissioner of Police Adaku Uche Anya.

WuzupNigeria recalls that the cleric had failed to appear before an investigative panel established by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria [PFN] to investigate claims by Busola, the wife of gospel musician, Timi Dakolo, that the pastor raped her when she was 16.

Fatoyinbo had explained that he boycotted the panel on the advice of his lawyers. He accused the panel and the PFN of being prejudiced and impartial.

The PFN had disclosed on Thursday that its probe into the allegations against Fatoyinbo was inconclusive because he failed to honour the invitation to appear before the panel.
