Due to the COVID-19 lockdown a directive from the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, most netizens have become stranded as they can’t seem to afford foodstuff and other basic amenities.
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh amongst other celebrities has been a blessing to most needy and vulnerable by people in their community in these trying moments.
The lockdown is to help combat the coronavirus whilst keeping people safe but many Nigerians have complained of hunger.
Other celebrities have also joined in the donations to help some of their fans.
Tonto Dikeh and her team from her foundation shared some food items to the homeless and to the disabled Community.
Aside from the food donations, she also distributed hundreds of hand sanitisers to Nigerians who couldn’t afford it.

She has called on Nigerians who sell foodstuffs to get in touch with her because she wants to buy bags of rice from them for distribution.
The mother of one explained that her foundation is about to start its raw food bank drive. She stated that she would be helping 5000 Nigerians sustain their homes during this period.
She stated that she will be donating, 300 tins of tomatoes, 10,000 bags of pure water, 10,000 noodles, 10,000 bread, 130 bags of beans, 130 bags of Garri, 2000 multivitamins and 2000 immune system booster.
