Covid-19: Ogun governor postpones lockdown to Friday

Governor Dapo Abiodun on Monday announced that the lockdown of Ogun State over coronavirus fears has been postponed to Friday, 3 April 2020.

Abiodun said the state government made a request to the President, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), to shift the lockdown to enable residents stock foods.

WuzupNigeria reports that the lockdown was earlier fixed for Monday night.

He said the lockdown would now take place on Friday and would be total except those with essential services.
