COVID-19: KWASU set to continue academic activities via online platforms
The Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, says it will continue its academic activities for the rain semester of the 2019/2020 academic session online.
A statement issued by the institution’s acting Registrar, Mohammed Shuaib, hinged the decision on the recommendations of the university’s Committee of Deans.
”Considering the substantial coverage of the Rain Semester 2019/2020 academic calendar before the COVID-19 lockdown, the university management, on the recommendation of the Committee of Deans, has directed lecturers to complete their outstanding academic activities via online platforms.
”The duration for completion is from Monday, June 29, to Friday, July 17,” the statement said.
It, therefore, urged the lecturers to leverage on any or a combination of some applications, namely: KWASU moodle, Zoom, Microsoft teams, WebEx, WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google meet, Skype, Telegram and Edmodo.
