Covid-19: Kano records one COVID-19 death
The Kano State government has announced that one coronavirus death has been recorded in the State.
The State’s Ministry of Health disclosed this in a tweet via its Twitter account on Monday.
The Ministry also announced that 27 additional patients have been discharged following full recovery from the virus.
According to the Ministry, five new additional cases of the disease were also recorded in the State.
The tweet reads,
“Update as at 11:45pm 8th June 2020.
“52 samples of COVID-19 were tested today in Kano.
“5 new cases of COVID-19 in Kano confirmed.
“27 additional COVID-19 Kano patients were discharged.
“Sadly, 1 COVID-19 Kano death was also recorded today.
“Residents are advised to stay safe and always mask up.”
Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, on Monday confirmed that the almost 979 strange deaths recorded in State were linked to the coronavirus disease.
