Covid-19: Imo discharges three patients
Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on Saturday disclosed that three patients who tested positive to the Covid-19 pandemic in the State have been discharged.
In a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Oguwuike Nwachukwu, the Governor said that of the six cases undergoing treatment in the Isolation Centre in the State, two were discharged at the weekend while the index case was discharged earlier, bringing the total to three.

He explained that all the three already discharged tested negative twice according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The Governor further said that so far, there were no new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Imo State, according to the NCDC.
Governor Uzodinma had on Friday appealed to Imo residents to abide by the directives already given by the government and the Covid-19 taskforce in Imo, reaffirming his resolve to protect and guard the people against the deadly scourge of coronavirus.
