Former vice president Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike at the government house.
This was made known in pictures shared on the Twitter handle of Nyesom Wike moments ago.
Atiku and his entourage were hosted at the State house Banquet Hall by the governor.
The reason behind the visit of the former vice president is yet to be made public but it is believed that Atiku who is eyeing the number one seat of power at the centre might be soliciting support from Wike and his people as 2019 election gather momentum.
Meanwhile, Atiku also took to his Twitter handle immediately he arrived Rivers to notify his followers of his destination.
He said,
“I’m in Port Harcourt and amazed to see how much work Governor Wike has done. Kudos, action governor.”
