An Upper Area Court sitting in Kasuwan Nama, Jos on Tuesday sentenced an artisan, Solomon Clement to 24 months imprisonment for stealing car accessories.
The presiding Judge, Mr Lawal Suleiman, sentenced Clement after he pleaded guilty to theft.
Suleiman however, gave the convict an option to pay a fine of N30,000.
Earlier, the police prosecutor, Insp. Monday Dabit said the complainant, Marcus Umigwe, reported the case at the ‘A’ Division Police Station on Nov.1.
