A Karu Area Court in Abuja, on Thursday, remanded a 36-year-old man, Hitama Ogbenyi, in a correctional centre for allegedly stealing a cell phone worth N49,000.
The Judge, Isa Anas, ordered that the defendant be remanded until September 13, to determine his bail conditions.
Anas denied the defendant bail because he is facing another similar offence in the same court.
