A Shari’a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, has ruled that Aminu Adamu must not enter his ex-wife’s bedroom to meet his children.

The decision was made on Thursday after the court confirmed that Adamu had made three divorce pronouncements to his former wife, Jamila Sani.

Judge Malam Anas Khalifa ruled, “There is no marriage between you and her because of the divorce pronouncement. You must refrain from meeting with her in private.” He added, “If you must see your children, see them outside her room.”

Despite the divorce, the judge ordered Adamu to continue supporting his children by covering their feeding, school fees, shelter, and health expenses.

Earlier, Jamila Sani had asked the court to confirm the divorce and grant her custody of the children. In response, Adamu agreed to provide N15,000 weekly as a feeding allowance for the children.
