A Japanese couple took it further by adding cute fashion and consistency to the blend.
Having been married for 37 years, the wear matching outfit almost every day. It is not just wearing the same tee shirt or a matching cardigan. The couple’s combinations are well thought out. Whether they’re wearing tartan, matching pleated skirts and jumpers or cute little black brogues, the couple’s predominant colour themes are red, blue, grey and black.
They husband and wife described themselves as a couple with a co-character of a generation. Their Instagram name Bonpon511 gives a hint about their marital life. They explained: “Husband = bon wife = pon, 511 is a wedding anniversary (1980.5.11).”
Instagram captions reveal that the fashion-forward couple, who are in their sixties, favour labels like UNIQLO and Comme Des Garcons.
