Coronavirus: Let’s go back to face mask, says Doyin Okupe
Former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe has warned Nigerians of a likely second wave of coronavirus in the country.
Okupe who took to Twitter stated that reports from isolation centres show that the virus is on a rebound in Nigeria.
He said, “Pls let’s go back to FACE MASKS!!! Information emanating from isolation centres and experts nationwide is that Corona Virus is on the Rebound in Nigeria just like other parts of the World. Incidence rates everywhere is rising particularly in Lagos.”
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 474 new COVID-19 infections in Nigeria. This takes the total figure to 70,669 cases.
The NCDC said that the states with the highest number in the new cases include FCT, Lagos, Kebbi, Adamawa, and Plateau.
