After crushing Juventus to lift the Coppa Italia trophy on Wednesday night, Inter Milan football stars made a statement with their victory chant, “Energy’ by Afropop gospel singer/rapper, Greatman Takit.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu who fired Inter back with a late minute equaliser was seen dancing to the song and as Takit sang, there was no stealing their energy following the emphatic 4-2 win.

Çalhanoğlu was also in the company of fellow Inter and Dutch star, Denzel Dumfries, as they both grooved to the song.

Nicolò Barella had given Simone Inzaghi’s side an early lead after six-minutes but Alex Sandro (50′) and Dušan Vlahović (52′) boosted Juve’s trophy charge in the space of two minutes.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men appeared to be cruising down victory lane when Turkish star, Çalhanoğlu, equalised in the 80th minute, taking the game into extra time.

But there was no stopping Inter’s “Energy” in extra time as Croatia star, Ivan Perišić netted a brace (99′ (P), 102′) to ensure the defending Serie A champions finished the season with the Coppa Italia trophy.

Çalhanoğlu and Dumfries’ dance video made it to Nerazzurri’s official Instagram page, attracting over 400 thousand likes and comments.

Reacting to the video, Greatman Takit congratulated the football club on their emphatic victory over the Old Lady.

“What to say… I DON’T KNOW!! How it happened… I DON’T KNOW!!! All I know is that GOD IS KIND. And I TRUST HIM!

“These are @inter players celebrating their COPPA ITALIA win against Juventus using my song-OUR SONG “ENERGY” @sameenergyglobal is the team! JESUS IS KING,” the excited singer shared with his 19thousand Instagram followers.

The video has since been reposted by a number of gospel musicians including TY Bello, Nosa, as well as Mo Wallson of 121 Selah.
