Two young girls from a migrant family received shocking financial support from good samaritans after a photo of them doing their homework with a restaurant’s WiFi went viral.

The two girls are said to live in California, in the United States of America.

According to NBC News, they are students at Salinas City Elementary School District which said it had tried to provide wireless hotspots to the family.

However, good-hearted residents who were concerned for the little girls resorted to finding mediums to help them.

A GoFundMe page was set up by Jackie Lopez who was able to speak to the children’s mother, Juana, a migrant worker.

Lopez discovered that the family had been issued eviction notice and were set to leave their small rented home, but by Monday, 31st August, the GoFundMe page had raised more than N43 million ($112k), NBC News reports.
