Nollywood actor Eniola Olaniyan, who has been off the screen for some time, has finally revealed the cause of his long break from the movie industry.
The Yoruba actor has been studying for his doctorate degree and he finally bagged PhD in Meteorology and Climate Science on Saturday.
He took to his Instagram page to share a photo of his convocation at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
It was gathered that Olaniyan, a close ally of Saidi Balogun, worked with the Nigeria Meteorological Department at Oshodi, Lagos for several years.
Some of his colleagues in the movie industry have trooped to social media to celebrate the new Doctor of Meteorology.
Olaniyan’s buddy, Saidi Balogun celebrated his new academic achievement.
Balogun posted his convocation photo with the caption:
“Congratulations DR ENIOLA OLANIYAN, my brother from another mother.. I congratulate you …PHD..May the Lord give you the wisdom and strength to paddle your canoe to the promised land…Congratulations keep smiling in success.”

Yomi Fabiyi also shared Olaniyan’s photo on his IG page with the caption:
