Ahead of the crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria scheduled to hold in Uyo on November 12, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is already in Europe trying to secure the release of Nigerian players.
The German coach met with Odion Ighalo of Watford FC in London on Wednesday, October 26.
Ighalo shared picture of his meeting with the tactician on his Instagram page, captioning it, “Thanks for the visit Coach Gernot Rohr.”

Coach Rohr had earlier met with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, the technical director of Chelsea Mike Emenalo and Mikel Obi.

Rohr who has won his first two games in charge of the three-time African champions is hoping to secure a third win on the bounce when they host the Fennecs of Algeria next month.
Nigeria currently top Group B of the African World Cup qualifiers with three points ahead of Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia.
