Church building collapses during first service, kills 10, traps many in Delta

A building housing a church in Delta State has collapsed killing at least 10 persons and many others still trapped.
Church service was being held at the Salvation Ministry, Okpanam, at the Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state for the first time when the incident happened.
The building collapsed around 5.55pm Tuesday evening.
According to Vanguard report, about eight persons have been rescued unhurt, while four persons have been rushed to the Asaba Specialist Hospital.
As of the time of filing this report, Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah; the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Ononye Mordi, team of Red Cross officers, and fire fighters were on the ground.
